HOW IT ALL STARTED

How Sand Dunes Saved Fall Releases

I was 11 when I started loving baseball had my dad put me in west Saint Paul baseball and I ended taking MVP for the west Saint Paul all stars tournament. It all started with my dad and my coach’s that I respect. For running me hard and getting me going the path that i’m on currently to success. Now a 14 year old ALL DAY all star!

I have learned lessons everywhere not just baseball but ill just talk about baseball for now. Coach LYNCH was my favorite coach and was the first one other than my family that saw and encouraged my potential. Coach JOEL, FLAA, CHINO, RAMOS i dont think i would be the person that i feel i am without their guidance.

University of Minnesota summer camps. 7 straight years i went there until 2020 covid. I finally got to see how athletes behave. I fit right in and will have lifetime memories with them.

I didn’t realize it at the time but i was learning how to balance my attitude from right and wrong on the field. Controlling my emotions and realizing i dont have to be great all the time i just need to get 1% better every time i practice. In the UofM batting cage it was hand written on the dry erase board “when you are in here, get 1% better”. That is was the lightning in the bottle.

Even so, i keep hungry and humble, working on leadership and excepting things dont always go the way i want.

So what do i do? Hold my little sisters hand and walk her too and from my game, make sure to enjoy and say hi to everyone that came to see me. If there is a pause in game i might wave to someone, even my dad and i have our own air handshake as to not distract anyone.

Born march 2007 am only 14, 5’7 130 lbs so this is still the beginning of my story no matter what happens in my future but i am going to cary this attitude through my life.

Since this is my first blog im writing down my current stats so i can look back. 8th grade throw right 79mph, bat speed 84, 175lb squats 320lb hex bar dead lifts. Love every position in the field and playing catcher is my favorite.
After 2 and a half hours of facility training, then work on my catcher drills. Where does the time go. I must get my energy from grandpa who in his 70s will still play ball with me, and my grandma who still takes us kids sledding! And yes she will hike up those hills and go down them.
